Presbyterian SeniorCare Network, a nonprofit senior living network in western Pennsylvania serving more than 7,500 older adults, faced leadership and project execution gaps after its senior director of information systems departed. Hartman stepped in as CIO, established an IT investment committee, managed a complex EHR transition, and delivered a strategic IT roadmap. The team migrated to Microsoft 365, formed a security committee under a fractional CISO, and cleared a backlog of stalled projects. Results included higher staff satisfaction, improved efficiency, stronger cybersecurity, and readiness for growth, including integration of seven additional sites and about 700 employees through a UPMC partnership.
