A true connector and a trustworthy leader, teambuilding comes naturally to Adam; and it’s the aspect of his job that he enjoys the most. For nearly 30 years, he has led high-performing software development teams, drawing on his significant experience implementing a wide range of technology solutions and system integrations. He is also an expert process optimizer and problem solver, admitting that he’s the guy who rearranges the paper plates and ketchup bottles at the cookout to make the line move faster.
“In the past decade, every company has become a technology company. A company that doesn’t fully embrace technology will be outpaced by their competitors that do. Technology is an opportunity for agility and advantage that a business simply cannot afford to ignore.” – Adam Dray
Adam’s specific expertise is in software design and architecture, and data movement, including warehousing, file transmissions, business analytics and dashboarding. Before coming to Hartman, Adam spent almost ten years at Dunbar Armored where he built the entire software department, hired and mentored its personnel, and guided IT strategy for cash vault services, all while strengthening, expanding and securing software applications. He was also a founding member of the enterprise architecture group at PHH Fleet (now Element Fleet). As a Project Management Professional (PMP), coder, and certified Scrum Master, Adam’s career is a true blend of business and technology. He is driven to help organizations flourish by connecting IT strategy with their business mission.
Outside of work, Adam composes electronic music. He is also a member of Code for Baltimore, a brigade that focuses on social good and civic tech in Baltimore and the surrounding areas.
