“With technology evolving faster than ever before, having the right people in the right roles can help an organization perform efficiently and strategically plan for future growth and goal achievement.” -Alison Hutchinson, Senior AdvisorAfter earning her MBA, Alison moved into consulting, working with the Center for Organizational Excellence and supporting a strategic planning initiative with the Army Civilian Human Resources Agency. At the conclusion of the project, the team delivered a five-year strategic plan, strategic human capital plan, and a communications and branding plan, along with new mission, vision and value statements, and recommendations for a new organizational structure. Alison spent a significant part of her career at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Under her direction, the Group Sales Department saw its top three highest grossing sales years. She also played a key role in initiatives that improved her department’s effectiveness, including a new online payment platform, a structured payment process for larger ticket commitments, and a new telecommunications system. In her free time, Alison volunteers as an adoption coordinator for Dogs XL Rescue, where she helps rescues find homes. She also enjoys running and spending time with her husband and their two dogs, especially when they can visit their hometown of Buffalo, New York for a Bills or Sabres game.
