Pragmatic and meticulous, Chris leverages his more than 35 years of business and technology leadership experience, the last 15 of those in healthcare, to support organizations as they develop, implement and continuously refine their IT strategy to achieve greater levels of success.

Prior to Hartman, Chris spent more than 15 years in management and technology consulting, building and leading a consulting practice from the startup stage to over $10 million in annual revenue. Chris also served as CIO for a national workplace healthcare provider where he led the effort for the organization to be the first in their industry to successfully earn the HITRUST CSF certification that assures information protection, risk management and regulatory compliance.
Chris enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors. His hobbies include kayaking, beekeeping, and canoeing on the New River in southwest Virginia and at the beach at Oak Island, NC. He is also a certified Project Management Professional and member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), as well as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), and the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
