“We are in a technology-driven world where reliance on technology increases daily, if not hourly. For businesses to succeed today they must understand, appreciate, and embrace how technology supports strategy and has the greatest insight and expertise of cross-functional interdependencies. Technology is at the center of all we do today, and this will continue and get even stronger in the future.” — Gary Appelbaum
During his time at J&J, Gary served as the global TSA/RTSA lead for the company’s acquisition of Pfizer’s consumer healthcare business, including well-known brands such as Listerine®, Purell®, Lubriderm® and Desitin®. Gary also led J&J carve-out transactions, on the buy-side from GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) and on the sell-side to both corporate strategic and private equity buyers. After J&J, Gary was a Managing Director at Accordion Partners, a private equity-focused financial consulting firm. Earlier in his career, Gary was the CFO/CAO at Lancit Media Entertainment and VP, Controller at Madison Square Garden Corporation, and was a CPA.
