Jarrod knows that technology moves fast and that it is a powerful strategic enabler for organizations. Bringing nearly 25 years of experience as an IT leader, Jarrod enjoys working with executives to help navigate the ever-changing technology landscape and leverage the incredible capabilities it offers to differentiate themselves in the marketplace and achieve their business goals.
“Technology stopped being a cost center a long time ago. Every leader in an organization should be involved in working with high-performing technology teams to chart a strategic course. We strive for IT-business alignment; when executed well, IT is the business – enabling and empowering the entire organization to be successful and more strategic.”
Jarrod joins Hartman from Big Brothers Big Sisters of America where, as Chief Technology Officer, he led a major modernization and digital transformation initiative, centered on the implementation of Salesforce for over 270 agencies with nearly 8,000 staff. He was previously the Chief Information Officer at the San Francisco Opera where he led an initiative to migrate infrastructure and offline processes to the cloud and implemented a market-leading security program. As a testament to his expertise, Jarrod regularly gets calls from former colleagues looking for guidance and advice on business and technology matters.
