With 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Jason is renowned for fostering collaborative and empowered teams while overseeing large-scale projects. As the IT Director for Hartman’s Commercial Practice, Jason collaborates with CIOs to closely engage with clients across many industries and enhance their operations. He offers strategic IT leadership by thoroughly understanding the business goals and objectives, then aligning technologies and strategies to achieve them effectively.

Before joining Hartman, Jason served as the IT Manager for a private, contemporary art museum in Maryland, where he built a high-performing team, initiated a cybersecurity program, engineered complex technology solutions, and managed day-to-day IT operations. He played a critical role in overseeing the installation of the museum’s network infrastructure and the build-out of their data center for a massive expansion project, which included a new 200,000 square foot building and other structures across a 300-acre campus. Prior to that, Jason spent the first decade of his IT career as a field technician and later as an operations manager for a small technology services company, providing systems administration and technical services primarily for clients in the US House of Representatives and various businesses in the DMV area.

Outside of work, Jason spends time practicing meditation and exploring other areas of mindfulness, and working out at the gym. He is an auto enthusiast and can often be found wrenching on or detailing his car, or going to car shows with friends.
