With more than 30 years of experience in process improvement, Larry brings a unique perspective to technology projects, having spent the first half of his career in operations, sales and finance. It was through these experiences that he recognized the need for timely and accurate data and became a technology project manager focused on standardizing ERP and reporting systems in a $2.5 billion publicly traded corporation.
Prior to joining the Hartman team, Larry was Senior Vice President for ThompsonGas, the sixth largest independent energy supplier, where he was responsible for strategy and oversight of technology initiatives during a period of growth from $30 million to $500 million in annual revenue. During his tenure at ThompsonGas, Larry led the IT integration of over 40 acquired companies, the implementation of several core business systems, and implemented a business intelligence solution for the organization.
“Technology is a catalyst that enables an enhanced customer experience, drives efficiencies, removes compliance hurdles, and provides insight into areas of focus. Entities that align technology with their business goals have a competitive advantage over their peers as they respond rapidly to the constant changes in the marketplace.” — Larry Young
