Rachel’s proactive approach to a multitude of roles makes her an instrumental asset to the Hartman team. Rachel oversees many aspects of general office management for the company, primarily supporting the Hartman executive team, ensuring an efficient and organized work environment. She also excels in system administration, process management, and working behind the scenes and with various IT vendors to make sure our systems operate reliably.

Prior to joining Hartman, Rachel managed sales and marketing operations, including continuous analysis and improvement of protocols, processes and training at a leading employee health and wellness organization. In a previous role, she served as the executive assistant to the CEO and COO, working alongside them and the leadership team on company-wide projects, including IT initiatives. Rachel also spent time with the Baltimore Business Journal, where she consulted on marketing initiatives with clients and helped them implement solutions to grow their brand awareness in the region.

Rachel is a classically trained singer and loves a good karaoke night! She also enjoys helping in her community; since 2011, Rachel has volunteered with The Family Tree (working toward the prevention of child abuse and neglect). She previously volunteered as a cat foster parent at the Maryland SPCA and served as a mentor at Year Up Baltimore where she helped college students navigate new experiences and prepare for their careers.
