“Used effectively, technology can help businesses achieve their strategic objectives, maximize productivity, foster innovation and gain competitive advantage.” -Ralph PorporaBefore coming to Hartman, Ralph supervised a team of 65 as the Director of Information Services and Interim CIO for a large healthcare system where he steered end-to-end design, implementation and maintenance efforts of information systems to enhance clinical and business operations. He also spent time at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHoP) where he established business analysis methodology and framework and introduced technology solutions that met business and clinical needs. Ralph is also credited for enhancing communication between project teams and end-users, which led to a dramatic reduction in missed requirements and a measured 30% growth in end-user satisfaction at the hospital. Ralph doesn’t slow down when he’s off the clock and enjoys heading out on his bicycle to put in some miles riding the many scenic roads in the area. An avid cyclist, he participates in the annual Ride for Runaways, a seven-day, 500-mile charity bicycle ride that benefits Anchor House, a shelter for runaway and abused teenagers. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
