From The Daily Record’s website:

“Maryland’s Top 100 Women recognizes high-achieving Maryland women who are making an impact through their leadership, community service and mentoring.”

Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record, said about this year’s honorees: “Maryland’s Top 100 Women create change and break barriers in their professional worlds but also make a difference at home and in their communities. We applaud our honorees for their passion, their commitment to excellence and for the work they do to bring communities together.”

Marie is a strong believer in helping others and contributing to her community. She currently serves on Comptroller Peter Franchot’s Business Advisory Council, is an advisor to the board of Financial Executives International’s Baltimore chapter, and is co-chair of Executive Alliance’s Women on Corporate Boards committee.
