Frank is a seasoned technology strategist with more than 30 years of experience and a knack for solving difficult business challenges. A collaborative and respected leader, he focuses on building strong relationships with his clients to best understand their strategies and goals for the future. Drawing on lessons learned from his esteemed career spanning multiple industries, Frank works to identify organizations’ strengths and weaknesses in the early stages of engagements to help leaders capitalize on the opportunities technology can bring to their business operations.

Prior to joining Hartman, Frank was the Chief Information Officer for a global learning services and professional development solutions provider. In this role, he led a 32-person team responsible for IT strategy, service delivery and operational support, and managed operational and capital budgets in the $8 million range. At AARP, he transformed their IT organization from a back office, cost center model to a strategic partner model. Frank also spent 16 years with IBM, where he introduced the first automated material handling systems to their semiconductor development and manufacturing facilities. He was also instrumental in the development of the IT architecture, strategy and operational methodologies for a joint venture with IBM and Toshiba.
Frank loves being outdoors, whether he’s golfing, gardening, hunting or spending time with his family. He is a former board member of the Triangle Technology Executives Council (TTEC), and the former treasurer of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Prince William County, Virginia.
